Periodontist
Dr. Zaineb Aslam attended New York University, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and graduated summa cum laude. Following her general dental training, Dr. Aslam completed a three-year post-graduate residency program in Periodontics at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. During her training, Dr. Aslam also completed a clinical trial comparing the efficacy of chlorhexidine with novel mouthrinse (StellaLife®).
Dr. Aslam is a compassionate and caring practitioner. She enjoys all aspects of periodontal therapy, including the placement of implants and soft tissue “gum” grafting. Dr. Aslam is committed to staying current with the latest technologies and advances in dentistry through continuing education.
Dr. Aslam is a member of American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, and the Illinois Society of Periodontists. She is also an elected member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
During her time away from the office, Dr. Aslam enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She enjoys biking, playing basketball and pickleball.
